I have worked for accounting practices for over 15 years and have always felt a bit different. I saw and envisioned things in a different way to those around me. However, quite often i was the only woman in the room. I've now been running my own accountancy practice since July 2022 and my mission is to simplify and uncomplicate tax and accounting terminology and information so my clients never feel alone or confused. So they can take on the world and win!
I assist sole traders and people with investment properties, but not individuals with only employment income and investments.
I am a huge advocate for women. I have pushed hard for change throughout my professional career for numerous causes and changes. Paid maternity leave programs, accessible financial literacy for women, female representation and inclusion. Even though we have a way to go, it's amazing meeting like minded, strong, passionate women along the way. By raising all women up, we're creating a better world for everyone and i love supporting organizations like LFC doing their part to make that a reality.
